Secondary Progressions
The School in Secondary Progressions provides an in-depth focus on the role of Secondary Progressions as a predictive tool in astrology.
This course consists of four lectures each 60-minute videos. These videos are packed full of chart examples where you learn the step-by-step process of understanding how to read a transit. You will need to visit each lecture several times so can practice the technique. Additionally, the course is supported with extra videos on different tools. If transits indicate the events in our lives, progressions show us how we are reacting to those events. We have all experienced times of flow or ease, while at other times no matter how hard you try, things go astray and life seems tough. Progressions provide the astrologer with the tools to look at this flow and indicate how you can help yourself, your family or your clients to step into the flow, rather than push against the odds.
Course Contents
Lecture 1 – A focus on the progressed moon, through signs, houses, and the meanings of the different aspects it makes to your natal chart.
Lecture 2 – A focus on the progressed Sun, through signs, houses, and way that this movement over a 90 year span can show the arc of a person’s life.
Lecture 3 – A focus on the secondary progressed lunar phase, one of the essential tools in predictive astrology for understanding the nature of a particular period of time – the winters and summers of your life.
Lecture 4 – A focus on the progressed planets, their movement through houses and signs, plus the meaning of when a planet changes from retrograde to direct (or direct to retrograde) as markers of major shifts in the life path. We will also be learning and understanding the aspects that progressed planets can make to the natal chart.
Studying the Secondary Progression
You engage with the Progression course online from your own computer – PC or MAC, or you can use your iPhone or iPad. Once you enrol you will instantly gain access to the course. Log into your courses using your chosen username and password. Then click on My Courses – top right hand menu, then click on the Secondary Progression course.
Skill Level
The course is aimed at astrologers who know the basic components of a chart, what the houses and planets mean, and the role of aspects. If you feel that you do not have these skills, then we recommend that you first enrol in the our Delineation Foundations course.
This course is designed to lift your progression work to a higher level, whatever your starting point.

Dr Bernadette Brady
The lecturer is Bernadette Brady who holds a PhD from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and did her doctorate in beliefs in fate in 20th and 21st-century astrology. She also holds a masters degree in Culture Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University, UK. In September, 2006 she was honoured by the Astrological Association of Great Britain by being awarded the prestigious Charles Harvey Award for “exceptional service to astrology”, and in 2008 with the Regulus Award in theory and Understand by the USA community at UAC in Denver. She is only one of a handful of UK astrologers to hold this award (some others being Nick Campion and Liz Greene).
