Questions about accessing our courses
In 2022 we changed our teaching platform to Learndash. This means that all old usernames and passwords are no longer valid. When you first enrol in one of our courses you will be asked to create a new account with a username and password.
When you first enrol in any course you will be asked to create an account with your name, a user name and a password.
VIP – The name you use to create your account will be the name that appears on your certificates.
When you return to the Astro Logos web site you can then select ‘Log in’ and use your username and password. If you select REMEMBER ME then the site will remember you and log you in automatically upon your return.
If you forget your password then in the Log In dialogue box select – ‘Forgot my password’ and you will be sent a link to reset your password to the email address for your username.
NOTE: The password reset will only work if you have already created an account. If you are trying to reset a password form 2020 then the password reset will not work. You need to create a new account by enrolling in a new course.
When you are logged in, go to ‘My Course’ on the menu, then select ‘My account’. You can edit your name (that is used on your certificates) as well as see your different enrolments and other details.
When you enrol in your first course you will need to create a username and password. When you return to the Astro Logos web site then click on ‘My Courses’ on top of the right hand of the page. This will give you the option of going to My Courses, clicking on this will then show you all your available online courses.
No, the lectures in an online course are not available to be downloaded. However, you can download any of the PDFs that make up the handouts for the course. You will have access to any of the online courses for 90 days counting from your enrolment.
The only way to extend a course is to re enrol in it, giving you another 90 days of access.
Yes, you can enrol in more than one course at a time. You set your own pace for your learning.
At the moment only the Fixed Star school has tutor contact with a Q & A session scheduled for the latter part of the school’s period. We do plan to add more of these types of schools.
Once you have finished all the video’s which include the lectures plus any supporting videos then in the Learning Zone for your course you will see a banner at the top telling you that you have a certificate to download. This is a PDF format and will be made out to the name you used with your created your account.
An Online Course is a series of lectures and support material that you access online where is a Studyshop is a product which you download onto your computer and then you have unlimited access to them. Studyshops are an earlier product based on workshops held in the 1990s and early 2000s. The online course are recordings made of online schools from 2018 onwards.
Questions about our course contents
The best place to learn to read charts is in the Foundations of Chart Reading course. Once you are comfortable with the steps we teach you there then you can go onto the Advance Chart Reading course where you begin to work with a whole chart.
Predictive astrology does require that you are comfortable with the basics of chart reading. When you are ready then begin with the Working with Transit course, follow that with the Secondary Progression. When you are comfortable with that material then bring it altogether with the Time Map course.
