In the last three years there were 847 astrologers and students who attended an Astro Logos Master Classes. After some of the Master Classes we asked the attendees for feedback in order to improve and perfect these Master Class. Below is a collection of some comments by astrologers about their experience of attending a particular Astro Logos Master Class. All of the astrologers below have given their permission for us to use their comments on the web, some with their names and others without.

You attend the online Master Clases from your own personal computer – PC or MAC, or even tablet or smart phone. The sessions are normally 1 x 3-hours in length with a short 10 minute break in the middle and are focused on a particular subject in astrology. The lecturers are Bernadette Brady and Darrelyn Gunzburg.
We use Zoom video conferencing as the real-time teaching platform. In this environment you can see and hear the tutor and the other students and ask any questions you may have.
These unique sessions are conducted over the course of 3 hours with a 15-minute break in between. These sessions they are generally scheduled at 15:00 UK time which seems to work best for astrologers in most other time zones. We recognise that this is difficult for those astrologers in Australia and New Zealand but if you register for a class and fall asleep or cannot attend you will be sent the recording.
The sessions are recorded as MP4 video files and uploaded to the cloud, usually via OneDrive. A link will then be sent to all people who have registered for the Master Class. the file format we use is MP4, which is a video file that runs on PCs and MACS. These are normally ready for downloading by the next day.
Please note that because we work with your chart in these master classes the recordings of the class are not sold separately and indeed are only available to those astrologers who have registered for the class before hand. If you are unable to attend the class we will still send you the recordings.
Before each Master Class we will email you a PDF of the Power Point presentation that is going to be used. This is so you can if you wish print it out and write notes on it. With some of the Master Classes there is addtional material and notes which are emailed to you before the class.

The different seminars will require different levels of astrological knowledge, so check each seminar or simply email us with any questions you may have.
We work with your charts so hence the size of each Masterclass is limited to around 15 students.
All teaching for the seminar series is in English.
If you attend both sessions of a set of master classes, which means 6 hours of tuition and discussion then you can request a Certificate of Attendance stating that you have participated in a Master Classes on a particular subject. This certificate is emailed to you as a PDF.
Students can use our secure registration form and pay by credit card using either the HSBC gateway or PayPal. You can register for any Master Class on that Master Class page. All classes must be paid for in advance.

Masterclass Calendar 2020
Times
All times are given in local UK time. For the periods of April through to the end of October the UK is on BST, for Master Classes in November and Decemeber the time zone will be GMT.
- When UK is on BST – summer time then: 15:00 in UK is Midnight in Melbourne, Australia but 07:00 in the West Coast of the USA
- When the UK is on GMT – normal time: 15:00 in UK is 02:00 in Melbourne, Australia but 07:00 in the West Coast of the USA
All Masterclasses are held on either a Sunday and are limited in size. Classes do fill so please book early if you do not wish to be disappointed at not being able to attended a session.
Attending the Masterclass
You attend the Masterclass online from your own computer – PC or MAC, or you can use your iPhone or iPad.
We use Zoom which is a special service which enables us to all see and hear each other while also being able to share PowerPoints, whiteboards and chat boxes.
Once you register for a class we will send you information and the link – the key – to the seminar room.
January
Profession and Lifestyle – what flows for you.
A question which is often asked of a chart is what should one ‘do’ as a job or profession, what am I ‘good at’ what flows for me. There are tools and techniques from medieval astrology which embrace these questions and are just as useful today as they were many hundreds of years ago.
As a group we will work with all the charts of those attending to firstly learn technique and then and then apply it in practice!

Meeting Mercury & Engaging with Venus
Two new masterclasses.
These classes were run in February 20 and we plan to scheduled them again in 2021
Some people are fast thinkers making snap decisions while others like to ponder. Some people are worriers while others can be too optimistic, and many are in-between. This Masterclass focuses on Mercury, its chart position, house rulerships and aspects all of which combine to reflect the individual unique way of thinking and communicating.
The second masterclass is on Venus, our passions, our loves but also our aesthetics values and how and why we will engage our senses. The addict or the strong willed, the social butterfly or the recluse, all of these are wrapped up with your Venus, how it sits in your chart and its aspects.

Your Heliacal Rising and Setting Stars
The aim of this special Masterclass is to introduce you to the two most important fixed stars that are linked to your chart. These are the stars that walk beside you through your life – the star that rose before the sun on the day you were born and the star which set just before dawn!

The Houses
Three new masterclasses –These classes were run in March and April 20 and we plan to scheduled it again in 2021
Your Angular House – 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th Houses. These are the engine room of your chart and what rules them and the planets in them show the vitality and drive in a person life.
Your Succedent Houses – 2nd, 5th, 8th and 11th. These are the social houses, how you engage with others, for better or for worse!
Your Cadent Houses – 3rd, 6th, 9th and the 12th. These house show what or who you serve, where are you duties and how do these unconscious commitments serve you.

Understanding the Nodes
The Moon’s Nodes are geometrical points created by the intersection of the Moon’s orbit with the ecliptic. Yet both natal nodes and the location of the transiting node have great meaning for a person, representing the different ways that change enters our lives. This Master Class will consider the nature of the Moon’s nodes, its expression in our early years, in adulthood and then in maturity, and how to handle transits to a natal node as well as the transiting node in the natal chart.

Interpreting Eclipses – Solar and Lunar
This class was run in June 20 and we plan to scheduled it again in 2021
Eclipses are one of the most enchanting sky events that we can witness and as astrologers we can read them in connection with a person’s horoscope. However, not all eclipses are the same. Recognising their role in history and the nature of the great cycles, called Saros cycles, with which each is connected, allows us to gain insights into their individual nature. It also informs us as to why, at certain times, an eclipse will affect a person and at other times will not touch them directly at all but merely sit in the background during an eclipse season.

Working with your Squares and Making the most of your Trines
Squares in a chart are energising. They cause tension which produces action and in so doing, they act as engines in your life. Trines are where your potentials lie, but they work best when connected to squares or hard aspects. This weekend’s Masterclass seminars looks at these aspects in your chart to see how you can make the best use of your tensions and potentials. This is a set of two Master Classes the whole weekend we will be working with each attendee’s chart and show you how to unpack the information on squares and trines can add to understanding ‘why it so’ with some recurring themes in your life.

The Lot of Spirit: Soul, God, and your Spiritual Purpose
In the thirteenth century the Italian astrologer Guido Bonatti wrote in detail about astrological techniques that reveal a person’s understanding of God, as well as one’s spiritual purpose in life. Bonatti even offered a method for considering whether an individual would fulfil this allocated spiritual purpose. These methods are still valuable today and allow you, as an astrologer, to understand how to consider a person’s spiritual purpose, their view of God, and their relationship to the divine.
